They're considered hitchhiking pests. A few by themselves are fine. They reproduce like rabbits, though. If you start to get a lot of them, you'll want to get a harlequin shrimp. It decimates your asternia population quickly. But they're so good at taking the asterinas out, they kill them all and run out of food quickly. So, if you get a harlequin, you either need to sell it back to the lfs when it's eaten then all, or start adding chocolate chips for it to eat.
