I want to get a lid for my 24 standard but I know it's going to affect the lighting. Any experience that can be shared? The lid is mainly to keep fish in.

I had an acrylic lid on my tank first few years and didn’t effect growth. Corals grew great

the lid will reduce some par, just gotta keep the lid very clean
