MBDA project on coral
Building an impactful MBDA project on coral bleaching and reef conservation. My goal is to Make complex science super accessible with engaging visuals, short explanations, and a live mini-tank display to spark real action among students, locals, and community groups. Mushroom corals are perfect for this they're hardy, vibrant, and show healthy polyp action vs. bleaching threats in a way photos can't match. A couple small "baby" frags even 1-2 polyps would turn my setup into a powerful, hands-on demo that stands out from typical presentations.

This sounds like such a cool project! Mushrooms are great cause they really show stress with their colors and polyp movement. Have you thought about how you’ll control lighting and flow to mimic bleaching conditions safely? I’m still new but I’ve noticed keeping alk and mag stable helps
