Hello! Is anyone dealing with micro bubbles or particles in their water? I'm wondering if it could be coming from the return pump. Any insights or experiences would be greatly appreciated. See video below for reference.

Interesting. I haven’t dealt with that before. Have you tried turning your return pump off for several minutes to see if they disappear

I got a smaller pump, the one I had was turning over to much water. It’s starting to look better

I’ve noticed sometimes when the water level is low there is extra air that gets into the plumbing leading to the sump. I have noticed some micro bubbles when that happens

need more surface movement move that powerhead up you can see the film i dont think those are bubbles but particles

How do I get rid of the particles? Would a lid help?

You have no surface agitation. As other guy said. It’s a must. When I had microbubbles it was my skimmer making its way to return causing it. But these look like particles not bubbles

I fixed the surface agitation, also I have a 200 microns filter sock and filter floss don’t know what else to do

I had the same issue with my skimmer. Microbubbles are usually from either that or your return pump doesn’t have enough water in the reservoir where it is.

No there’s plenty of water plus I have a ATO

Just trying to figure out how to get rid of the particles in the water
