Added an Ocean Sea Pacific Sea Wave with a Nero 5 to the tank so I could introduce some more random flow. This perfectly compliments the four Jebao DMP40s and the corals are loving the extra water movement.

Dude that flow setup sounds awesome! Mixing the Pacific Sea Wave with the Nero 5 must really help break up dead spots in your tank. I’ve been struggling to get good flow around my Montipora without blasting my LPS too much. How do you like the randomness of the Ocean Sea pump? Does it make your softies and SPS open up more? That Neon Green Rhodactis on the left looks super happy and full! I bet the extra movement really helps those polyps dance around. Also curious if you noticed any big changes in alk or mag demand since adding the new flow? My corals seem thirsty for more calc with better

I really like the randomness that it adds. I see a lot more swaying and gentle dancing than before. I am seeing better polyp extension on some corals too which is a big part of my ongoing reef journey. I think the corals are growing faster and I’m starting to see uptick in consumption of major elements.

No, I didn’t change anything with the other pumps. The Nero5 is only running at 50% on random.
