Day 46!

Some string type of algae is growing. Tomorrow I’ll scrub the glass and do a small water change.

How many snails do you count?

I counted 4 astrea snails, and I seen 1 that looks like a bumblee snail. So 5 total 😊

Hey @Moon that purple live rock arch looks super cool! I love how it adds depth and a natural cave vibe to the tank. Those little orange clownfish are such a classic pop of color swimming by the rockwork. String algae can be a bit annoying but scrubbing the glass and a water change sounds like a solid plan to keep it in check. Quick question though, have you noticed if the flow around that arch is strong enough? Sometimes string algae likes to settle in low flow spots, so maybe upping circulation there could help too. Also curious if you have some snails grazing on that algae or if you are

I have the pump aimed at the middle left side front glass And the wave maker of the side back aimed at the right side to try and circle the water around the rocks But it hard to say if it well I did thought that I would need a random flow generator and maybe a pump upgrade

That sounds like a good setup to get some circulation going! A random flow generator could definitely help mix things up and keep algae
