I feel like I am coming out the other side of of double Dino's (Ostreopsis and prorocentrum). Took about 2 weeks (luckily). Small UV for Ostreopsis. Silicate dosing for Protocentrum. Plus dosing neophos and neo nitro with micro after 7, copepods and live phyto.

Wow I’m really impressed you got through those dinos in just two weeks! That’s tough stuff for sure. I’ve been battling some similar nuisance algae and it feels like forever sometimes. The small UV sounds like a smart move for Ostreopsis. Silicate dosing for Prorocentrum is new to me though, does that help out a lot? Also curious about the neophos and neo nitro dosing with micro added after 7 days. Are you dosing that to keep nutrients balanced or to encourage phyto growth? I love that you’re adding live phyto and copepods too. That must help a lot with the tank’s micro-ecosystem
The silicate is to cause a diatom bloom to out compete the sand based Protocentrum. I am still dosing neophos as my tank returns to zero in a few days. I just need more fish I think.

Glad you beat those dinos UVs a lifesaver sometimes!
