Ei, pessoal— tô com um probleminha de alga verde tipo “hair algae”. Tô me cuidando na alimentação, tirando fisicamente um pouco também, mas já perdi alguns caracóis e caranguejos ermitões no último ano, e sinto que tô faltando “comedores de alga”.
Pra referência, quando o assunto é comedores de alga eu tenho hoje 5 caranguejos ermitões de perna azul, 8-9 caracóis nerite, 2 caracóis cerith, uma concha e um ouriço tuxedo.
Então, vocês têm alguma sugestão de crew de limpeza pra um aquário de 25 galões que coma alga e fique de boa com meus outros invertebrados e peixinhos pequenos (tô com medo de que um caranguejo caranguejo-esmeralda ataque meu camarão cleaner ou o par de goby/pistol shrimp.)

Hey everyone- I’m having a bit of a green hair algae problem, I’m staying on top of feeding, I’m physically removing some too, but I’ve lost a few snails and hermits in the past year, and feel I’m just lacking algae eaters.
For reference, when it comes to algae eaters I currently have 5 blue leg hermits, 8-9 nerite snails, 2 cerith snails, a conch and a tuxedo urchin.
So, do you have any suggestions for clean up crew to eat algae in a 25 gallon that will get along with my other inverts and small fish (I’m scared an emerald crab may attack my cleaner shrimp or goby/pistol shrimp pair.)

Você tem skimmer de proteína? Falo isso porque se for um problema grande de GHA demais, talvez valha olhar métodos de filtragem mais agressivos. Scrubber de algas ou um refúgio com macroalga, talvez?
Do you have a protein skimmer? I say this because if it's a huge issue where you're getting too much GHA it might be worth looking into more aggressive filtration methods. Algae scrubber or refugium with macro algae maybe?

É um aquário all in one, ele até veio com skimmer, mas eu nunca usei, não tem refúgio também. Você tem experiência com algum dos dois?
It’s an all in one tank, it did come with a skimmer but I’ve never used it, no refrugium either. Do you have experience with either of these?

Sim, eu tenho. Eu começaria com o skimmer e veria o que isso faz pros seus nitratos. Eu tenho um algae scrubber e tô pensando em tirar do ar porque não consigo aumentar meus fosfatos nem meus nitratos de jeito nenhum. Então eu tô com o problema oposto.
Yes I do. Id start with a skimmer and see what that does for your nitrates. I have an algae scrubber and thinking about taking it offline because I cannot raise my phosphates or nitrates at all. So I have the opposite problem.

Se eu conseguir achar na minha loja eu vou, eu tinha vários mas todos morreram quando as dinoflageladas chegaram 😔 Boa sugestão!
If I can find them at my lfs I will, I had a bunch but they all died when the dinoflagellates hit 😔 good suggestion!
