Copperband attempt… again.
A few days ago I bought a Copperband Butterflyfish, a fish I’ve always loved but never had long-term success with. Either they stop eating or slowly fade away.
At the store he was already eating brine shrimp, which gave me some confidence.
Right now he’s in an acclimation box inside my display so he can observe the tank before release.
My biggest concern besides feeding is aggression from my tangs:
• Purple Tang
• Blue Eye Bristletooth Tang
I’ve been researching the clam on the half shell method for feeding and also the mirror trick to distract the tangs when I release him.
Let’s see how this one goes. I’ll document the journey.
Anyone here successfully kept a Copperband long term?

Help!! What’s wrong with guy? Before and after pictures.
Ok I have an anemones that is inside my rock structure has been there for over a week I cant get food to him and he is in the dark and cant get to him by hand any suggestions on how to fet him to come out. Trying to use an air pump to bother him but still there.
Added a Royal Gramma on Saturday and he seemed to be doing great. Was out and eating. Yesterday he didn’t come out at all except very quickly when I fed the tank. I have not seen him at all today even when I fed the tank. Normal behavior or do I have a problem? I only have 2 small clowns in the tank and they never seemed bothered by him. Any thoughts?
Tube Anemone is hungry
Hey guys. Should I still be feeding my tank although my clownfish died? Obv I would do way less amount wise but idk
YWG went missing. He's never gone into hiding like this. He's always been visible and out. I took the lid off to do some cleaning and now he's missing. I'm afraid he jumped but there's no sign of him. My cat is always near but I feel like I would have noticed him messing with it if he found it on the floor. It's been only 12 hours but I haven't seen him and he didn't come out to feed.
Any clue?
Any help would be awesome
Numbers are all good I came back after a two day trip to this.
