I wanna ask whats the best positioning for my soon to be placed corals and some macroalgae
Tank setup:
*10G
*1 warty frog fish
*canister filter (mechanical, chemical, carbon)
*Water flow is variable so i can just change the current
*RO water already
I was planning to add:
*pulsing xenia/kenya tree will be placed behind rock to not over populate
*red/purple/ or any dark colored zoan
*and some macroalgae not sure what other type to add since i am still looking for red, pink, purple or dark colored type to match the rock and theme
Don't mind the middle rock in front i just did not take it out since my warty likes that rock and mostly stays on that rock that was from his old rock formation before deciding to add corals and adding bigger rocks

Macroalgae love
My LFS got batch of locally aqua-cultured Trochus in. I have never seen them so small, and importantly juvenile shells uncovered by algae etc.
The magenta colour and patterns are insane. 3 more added to the 2 × adults in the tank.
Mind the dirty tank, I’m fighting Dinos, but I have been waiting months for a pair of these Watanabei Angels. I ended up with two females and hoping the dominant one will change to male 🤞
Micro brittle star spawning capture. This guy was big! He was standing over and inch high. He's the biggest one in there that i know of, this in the only time I've seen his entire body at once. He loves algae wafers and takes them from the tweezers into his cave.
Farewell destructo, job well done... traded him in today for a few nassarius snails and an electric blue hermit. Such a pretty urchin but he's dragged too many corals into unwanted battle. He won the old war on the red turf algae now he can cause havoc in the shops 500g display for the rest of his days.
Added a new inhabitant. Hopefully he helps with the algae!
Update on my 5 gallon tank! It’s running a still cycling and I added a mangrove and 2 balls of chaeto. Looking to add a lot more more macro algae. Also I added a damsel to help cycle and he is happy and eating so thank God!
15 days up and running, the chromis are still alive! Ammonia and Nitrite are 0 and Nitrate is at 15. This weekend, I added a bunch of macro algae and a tank background. The rocks and some of the sand are beginning to turn orange/brown. In 2 more weeks I hope to add some snails and copepods.
New member of the Clean Up Crew! I was told the black spot Foxface will eat bubble algae and they’re doing a great job on hair algae so far. I have plans to upgrade to a 1200 in the next 4-5m so they’ll have more room as they grow.
This GHA is whooping me. ISO blue tuxedo urchin - Houston Area…
This is a New venture for me. Its 8:30am. Thanks to the Algae Barn. I'm going to try to grow my own Phytoplankton and Copepods. I set up my station in my pantry. Wish me luck.🙂
