The Toadstool Leather Coral, belonging to the genus Sarcophyton, is a popular soft coral known for its unique mushroom-like appearance. Got this coral around Xmas time from #iReef been a blast having it and love it sheds every so often so if it’s polyps go inside of it don’t be alarmed they will come back out Only reason it isn’t 5 stars is because of it being a little temperamental and letting off toxins
It’s easy, looks good, adds nice movement to the tank, what’s not to like. Don’t be surprised if it gets a waxy look, this is totally normal and is just the coral shedding. Toadstools are awesome!
Love! Super easy to care for. Has “broken off” pieces which turned into more toadstools very easily.
