Hey everyone- I’m having a bit of a green hair algae problem, I’m staying on top of feeding, I’m physically removing some too, but I’ve lost a few snails and hermits in the past year, and feel I’m just lacking algae eaters.
For reference, when it comes to algae eaters I currently have 5 blue leg hermits, 8-9 nerite snails, 2 cerith snails, a conch and a tuxedo urchin.
So, do you have any suggestions for clean up crew to eat algae in a 25 gallon that will get along with my other inverts and small fish (I’m scared an emerald crab may attack my cleaner shrimp or goby/pistol shrimp pair.)

¿Tienes un skimmer de proteínas? Lo digo porque si es un problema grande y estás teniendo demasiado GHA, quizá valga la pena buscar métodos de filtración más agresivos. ¿Tal vez un algae scrubber o un refugium con macroalgae?
Do you have a protein skimmer? I say this because if it's a huge issue where you're getting too much GHA it might be worth looking into more aggressive filtration methods. Algae scrubber or refugium with macro algae maybe?

Es un acuario all in one, sí venía con un skimmer pero nunca lo he usado, tampoco tengo refrugium. ¿Tienes experiencia con alguno de esos?
It’s an all in one tank, it did come with a skimmer but I’ve never used it, no refrugium either. Do you have experience with either of these?

Sí, sí tengo. Yo empezaría con un skimmer y vería qué hace por tus nitratos. Tengo un algae scrubber y estoy pensando en desconectarlo porque no puedo subir mis fosfatos ni nitratos para nada. Así que yo tengo el problema opuesto.
Yes I do. Id start with a skimmer and see what that does for your nitrates. I have an algae scrubber and thinking about taking it offline because I cannot raise my phosphates or nitrates at all. So I have the opposite problem.

Si puedo encontrarlos en mi lfs, lo haré, tenía varios pero todos murieron cuando llegaron los dinoflagellates 😔 buena sugerencia!
If I can find them at my lfs I will, I had a bunch but they all died when the dinoflagellates hit 😔 good suggestion!
