Hola, me llamo Jazlyn. Soy nueva en la app. Los acuarios tienen como 10 meses, cumplirán un año en febrero. Estoy súper obsesionada con aprender cosas nuevas y con cómo puedo mejorar mi acuario. Hago un cambio de agua cada dos semanas, los sábados, de 5 galones. Reviso el agua cada domingo. Ahorita estoy lidiando con lo que creo que es alga bryopsis; si alguien tiene tips de cómo puedo deshacerme de ella, se lo agradecería muchísimo. También compré un coral Duncan hace un día y se ha mantenido cerrado todo el día de hoy. La verdad sí estoy un poco preocupada. Voy a dejar un video abajo. Se agradecen cualquier tip. Por favor no sean groseros, todavía estoy aprendiendo. ¡Felices reefing! 😊

Hello, my names Jazlyn. New to the app. Tanks about 10 months old, a year in feb. I’m extremely obsessed about learning new things and how I can better my tank. I do a water change every other week on Saturday of 5 gallons. I test the water every sun. I’m currently dealing what I think is bryopsis algae, if anyone has any tips on how I can get rid of it I’d highly appreciate it. I also bought a Duncan coral a day ago and it stayed closed all day today. I’m kinda concerned. I’ll leave a video below. Any tips are appreciated. Please don’t be rude as I’m still learning. PS no compres en petco.. El cuidado de sus peces/corales es horrible

Sí, bueno, les di el beneficio de la duda.. ahora me doy cuenta de que probablemente no tan bueno, o sea, compré mis zoas ahí y las que tengo están bien, las otras llevan bastante tiempo cerradas
Yeah well, I gave them the benefit of the doubt.. now realizing probably not great, I mean I got my zoas from them and the ones are doing good, the other ones have been closed up for quite some time now

Podrías tener suerte y encontrar algo bueno ahí, pero como consumidor, yo iría a una tienda local de peces de agua salada si tienes alguna....hay algunos lugares en línea muy buenos que tienen peces o corales excelentes....
You might get lucky and find something nice there but as a consumer, I'd go to a local saltwater fish store if you have any....there's some really nice online places that have great fish or corals....

Ahhh quizá un químico seguro para el reef se lo quitaría, pero da cosa meter ese tipo de cosas en el acuario, ni siquiera quiero poner el cynochem
Ahhh maybe a reef safe chemical would take it away but it’s iffy putting that type of stuff in the tank I don’t even want to put the cynochem
