¡No es buen día para el acuario! He perdido 2 payasos esta mañana y ah...

Igual parece ich? Perdí un par de payasos por ich. Intenté convivir con ello dándoles de comer bueno con comida mezclada con ajo, pero al final me volvió a tocar otro par de payasos que también cogió ich, incluso con una dieta buena. En vez de dejarlos morir, empecé un acuario de cuarentena (Quarantine) al momento. Fue una mierda tener los peces en cuarentena durante 3 meses, pero desde entonces estoy libre de ich. Aun así, a menos que me apetezca volver a cuarentenar, no he añadido más peces, jaja

Maybe looks like ich? I lost a pair of clowns to ich. Tried to live with it again by feeding good with garlic mixed foods but ultimately got another pair of clowns that also got ich even with a good diet. Instead of letting them die I immediately started a Quarantine tank. It really sucked to have fish qt for 3 months but have been ich free since. However unless I feel like quarantine again I have not added more fish since lol

Lo siento por tus payasos. Terciopelo y Ich pueden parecerse bastante, pero el terciopelo suele verse más con un aspecto más fino, como de polvo, mientras que el Ich es más como puntitos blancos. Sin un QT es más complicado, pero si puedes aislar al pez enfermo aunque sea un momento, ayuda bastante. Además, añadir un poco de sal de acuario

Sorry to hear about your clowns. Velvet and Ich can look pretty similar but velvet usually has a finer, dust-like appearance while Ich is more like little white spots. Without a QT it’s trickier but if you can isolate the sick fish even briefly that helps a lot. Also adding some saltwater

Actualización: confirmado con el LFS que es terciopelo. Después de examinar uno que se murió hoy. Me dijeron que subiera la temperatura a 82 y que consiguiera un esterilizador UV. Acuario en vacío 6-8 semanas y solo comprar peces que estén tratados y en cuarentena antes de meterlos en el hábitat principal. Lección cara aprendida por no comprar en sitios poco fiables.

Update to the situation confirmed with LFS is velvet. After examining one that died today. Advised to turn up temp to 82 and get a uv sterilizer. Fallow tank for 6-8 weeks and only buy fish that are treated and qt before entry to the main habitat. Expensive lesson learned not buying from non reputable sources!
