Description
The Bala Shark, also known as the Silver Shark, is a popular freshwater fish known for its striking silver body and black-tipped fins. Despite its name, it's not a true shark but gets its name from its torpedo-shaped body and large fins.

Environment
Bala Sharks prefer a well-decorated tank with plenty of swimming space. They enjoy tanks with a strong current and lots of hiding places, like caves or dense plants. They thrive in slightly acidic to slightly alkaline water.
Behavior
Bala Sharks are active swimmers and are known for their peaceful temperament. They are schooling fish and prefer to be in groups of five or more. They can be skittish and may jump out of the tank if frightened or stressed.
