These guys are VERY susceptible to uronema which is a death sentence. QUARANTINE QUARANTINE QUARANTINE. Some people say if you have multiple they will kill each other. I would say if you have a small tank get one. I have a 175g and have three that get along just fine. They school together. They are a great addition if you get them out of quarantine successfully.

What You Feed: Tropical blend flakes, marine blend frozen food.

I like these little fish, my girlfriend loves them. They have a cool color flash if they get in the light right. The only reason I wouldn’t purchase again is because of the high possibility of Uronema in these fish. I haven’t yet encountered uronema but it does make me want to stay away from these a bit.

What You Feed: Frozen Mysis, PE Pellets

This fish is usually pretty active and fun to watch. I started with 4 but now I’m down to only 2. They seem to mysteriously die or disappear in my system. Not sure why.

I’ve had 5 of these and they are very visible, eat anything. They are blue in a blue tank so not a pop of color. Great space filler of a fish

Love this fish but it seems better to have a bigger school of them in a larger tank I’ve seen them pick themselves off one by one in small schools.

Good beginner fish. I only have one that is now in my 125 gallon and it hides in there as my clownfish is still messing with it because it’s just been moved there but when it was in my 34 gallon it was always swimming around in there. Nice little peaceful fish but definitely quarantine it before adding to your tank. Can’t speak on how they do in groups as I only keep one but alone mine is great.

What You Feed: Brine Shrimp

They are sometimes prone to attacking and outcasting certain chromis when kept in large groups. In my opinion save your money a bit and get Anthias if your tank suits them.
