Got the 90 gallon set up! I think it looks pretty good. Glad I got to move up from the 55

Just bought a 90 gallon tank pre drilled with stand, sump, and Octo skimmer for $320😳.. what a steal. Super excited.

Another question. I’ve got a Kleins butterfly fish. I’ve heard mixed reviews on coral nipping with these guys. I figured I’d do sps corals and he wouldn’t bother them much, but just read a story about a Klein skipping over softies specifically for the sps, which I found bizarre.. I don’t have any coral yet but was wanting to start that up soon. Is it worth the risk, or should I rehome him and try another fish?

Was trying to catch the butterfly picking at the seaweed but the shrimp was hungry ig lol.

So I tested parameters today. All looks okay. Nitrates are a little high but nothing concerning (I wouldn’t think). The only thing I see is calcium being pretty high. Anyone have any ideas why I might’ve had the cyano outbreak? I’m trying to make sure once the lights come back on that it doesn’t come back swinging, but I can’t seem to find the root of it. It could just be me not looking in the right place, but hence the questioning.

Tank already looks 10x better. Still more to clean up. But it’s a good start
