Description
The Golden Angelfish is a beautiful, brightly colored saltwater fish that is popular among aquarium enthusiasts. It is known for its vibrant golden-yellow body, accented with electric blue and deep black markings. This fish is native to the warm waters of the South Pacific, where it can be found in and around coral reefs.
Reef Safe
With caution. While they do not typically bother corals, they may nip at small-polyped stony coral and clam mantles.
Environment
The Golden Angelfish requires a well-filtered aquarium with plenty of hiding places and live rock for grazing. The tank should also have a tight-fitting lid to prevent escape, as these fish are known jumpers.
Behavior
These fish are generally peaceful, but can be territorial with their own kind. They are often shy when first introduced to a new environment, but will become more active and outgoing once they are comfortable.

Wonderful fish, never had any problems with her other than my yellow tang being a bit of a bully. She originally hid a lot as I didn’t have my full rock work, only about half of the tank had rock, but once I got that second half she was swimming laps back and forth still relatively cryptic though I always see her at feeding time.
