The Meyer's Butterflyfish is a strikingly beautiful saltwater fish, known for its unique coloration and patterns. It has a yellow body with a black band running vertically across the eyes and another one running diagonally from the middle of the body to the tail. The fish's dorsal and tail fins have beautiful blue highlights.

If I could ever find one of these guys eating in the LFS I would immediately buy one. This is possibly one of the most tricky fish in the hobby because their natural diet consists of exclusively live coral. Like most butterflyfish they are quite sensitive to diseases and changes in water quality. One of the prettiest butterflyfish out there, unfortunately very hard to keep.
