Description
The Red Margin Shrimp Goby is a small bottom-dwelling marine goby known for its pale body, red to orange fin edging, and symbiotic relationship with pistol shrimp. It spends much of its time hovering near or darting into a shared burrow in sandy areas.

Requires a stable marine aquarium with sandy substrate for burrowing, plenty of rockwork, secure lid, moderate flow, and high water quality. Typical reef conditions with temperature around 72-78 F, salinity 1.023-1.025, and pH 8.1-8.4 are suitable.
Behavior
Peaceful and shy; typically stays near its burrow, may pair with pistol shrimp, and can jump if startled. Best kept with calm tankmates.
