Description
The Royal Flasher Wrasse is a small, colorful Indo-Pacific wrasse prized for its bright red to orange body, electric blue markings, and dramatic flashing display, especially by males during courtship or when excited. It is an active open-water swimmer that does best in peaceful reef aquariums with a secure lid.

Environment
Requires stable marine water conditions, strong biological filtration, ample swimming space, rockwork for retreat, and a tightly covered aquarium to prevent jumping. Prefers a peaceful community and does best in well-oxygenated reef environments.
Behavior
Active, fast-swimming, and often seen in the water column. Males may display by flashing their fins and colors, especially around other wrasses. Can be shy at first but usually becomes bold once established.
