Ehi a tutti—ho un po’ di problema con le alghe filamentose verdi (tipo barba/alghe “hair”), sto attento a come do da mangiare, le tolgo anche fisicamente, ma nell’ultimo anno mi sono morti un paio di lumache e pagliacci/ermit (granchi eremiti) e mi sembra proprio di non avere abbastanza animali che mangiano le alghe.
Per riferimento, per quanto riguarda gli animali che mangiano alghe io ho attualmente 5 hermit blue leg, 8-9 nerite snails, 2 cerith snails, una conch e un riccio tuxedo.
Quindi avete qualche suggerimento per il clean up crew che mangi le alghe in una vasca da 25 galloni e vada d’accordo con i miei altri invertebrati e i pesci piccoli (ho paura che un granchio emerald possa attaccare il mio cleaner shrimp o la coppia goby/pistol shrimp.)

Hey everyone- I’m having a bit of a green hair algae problem, I’m staying on top of feeding, I’m physically removing some too, but I’ve lost a few snails and hermits in the past year, and feel I’m just lacking algae eaters.
For reference, when it comes to algae eaters I currently have 5 blue leg hermits, 8-9 nerite snails, 2 cerith snails, a conch and a tuxedo urchin.
So, do you have any suggestions for clean up crew to eat algae in a 25 gallon that will get along with my other inverts and small fish (I’m scared an emerald crab may attack my cleaner shrimp or goby/pistol shrimp pair.)

Hai uno schiumatoio proteico? Lo dico perché se il problema con la GHA è enorme e stai ricevendo troppo, può valere la pena guardare a metodi di filtraggio più aggressivi. Tipo algae scrubber o un refugium con macroalghe, magari?
Do you have a protein skimmer? I say this because if it's a huge issue where you're getting too much GHA it might be worth looking into more aggressive filtration methods. Algae scrubber or refugium with macro algae maybe?

È una vasca all in one, è venuta con uno skimmer ma non l’ho mai usato, e non ho nemmeno un refrugium. Hai esperienza con uno o l’altro?
It’s an all in one tank, it did come with a skimmer but I’ve never used it, no refrugium either. Do you have experience with either of these?

Sì, ce l’ho. Inizierei con uno skimmer e vediamo cosa fa sui tuoi nitrati. Io ho un algae scrubber e sto pensando di metterlo offline perché non riesco proprio a far salire né i fosfati né i nitrati. Quindi ho il problema opposto.
Yes I do. Id start with a skimmer and see what that does for your nitrates. I have an algae scrubber and thinking about taking it offline because I cannot raise my phosphates or nitrates at all. So I have the opposite problem.
