Sono così giù di morale.. Ho comprato un Duncan a $12.99 e un riccio pin a $21.99 e oggi sono morti entrambi.. Li avevo comprati 2 giorni fa.. Non tornerò da petco perché ho comprato una stella marina sand sifting 3 giorni fa ed è felice che gira per la vasca e tutto il resto. Però la mia stella l’ho presa in un altro negozio.

Ero così entusiasta di avere un Duncan perché sono uno dei miei coralli preferiti, così come un riccio… So che non dovrei arrendermi, ma credo che i miei parametri dell’acqua siano tutti normali. E tutto il resto sembra stare benissimo..

I’m so upset.. I bought a Duncan $12.99 and a $21.99 pin urchin and they both passed on today.. I bout them 2 days ago.. I won’t be going back to petco cuz I bought a sand sifting star 3 days ago and it’s happy going around the tank and everything. But I got my star from a different store.

I was so excited to have a Duncan as they are one of my favorite corals as well as an urchin… I know I shouldn’t give up, but i believe my water parameters are all normal. And everything else seems to be thriving..

Potrebbe andare peggio, il mio angelo imperatore è saltato fuori oggi perché i miei figli stavano smanettando con la vasca e hanno cercato di coprirla

Could be worse, my emperor angel jumped out today because my kids were messing with the tank and tried to cover it up

Mi dispiace che ti sia successo, ma queste erano cose per cui ero super entusiasta e per me non potrebbe andare molto peggio. Ho scoperto che in più ho a che fare con la bryopsis.

Sorry that happened to you, but these were things I was super excited for and it couldn’t be much worse for me. I found out I’m dealing with bryopsis on top of it.

Mi dispiace sentirlo, fa davvero schifo quando prendiamo qualcosa e in un giorno è morto. Io personalmente uso solo 1 LFS e 3 persone online di cui posso dire che sono state al 100 % affidabili su tutto quello che prendo

Sorry to hear that happen it really stinks when we get something and in a day it’s dead . I personally only use 1 LFS and 3 people online that I can say have been 100 % on everything I get

Mi dispiace sentirlo… non comprare animali da petco, i loro pesci sono sempre malati e continuano a venderli. Trova un negozio locale di reef marini nella tua zona a cui importi davvero del loro bestiame vivo. Recentemente ero da pecto e ho visto un anemone che stava male. Una settimana dopo quello stesso anemone si è sciolto dentro l'acquario.

Sorry to hear this…don’t buy livestock from petco, their fish are always sick and they still sell them. Find a local saltwater reef store in your area who actually cares about their live stock. Recently I was at pecto and I seen an anemone that was sick. A week later that same anemone melted inside the aquarium.

Non tutti i petco sono uguali. Come detto prima, gli ho dato il beneficio del dubbio. Non lo saprai mai finché non provi. Il più vicino che ho è a 45min di auto.

Not all petcos are the same. As said before I gave them the benefit of the doubt. You’ll never know unless you try. The closest I have is a 45min drive.

Questo, vai almeno in un vero LFS per comprare animali. Trova uno che voglia che tu abbia successo, petco vuole letteralmente che tu torni a comprare altri pesci malati. Inoltre pensi che faccia schifo quando le cose che hai appena comprato muoiono? Aspetta di comprare un corallo o un pesce malato che poi fa ammalare i tuoi compagni di vasca felici e sani, e muoiono anche loro. So che sembra che stia facendo allarmismo, ma è la verità.

This, go to a real LFS at least for buying livestock. Find one that wants you to succeed, petco literally want you to go back and buy more sick fish. Plus you think it sucks when the things you just bought die? Wait till you buy a sick coral or fish that then get your happy, and healthy tank mates sick, and they die too. I know it sounds like I’m fear mongering but it’s the truth.
