Hi. I have an issue with high calcium in my nano tank. Do you have any suggestions or recommendations on how to reduce it? Or should I just leave it alone?

Non ho esperienza con quella roba. Offrono un mix con meno calcio? Io ho dovuto cambiare da orange instant ocean a purple e da allora è perfetto. 👌🏼
I have no experience with that stuff. Do they offer a lower calcium mix? I had to switch from orange instant ocean to purple and it’s been perfect since. 👌🏼

Here’s what I found. The calc range should be 400-420 in the salt itself.

Uso anche All For Reef e l'alcalinità è decisamente ritardata nel mostrare un aumento al test. È un calcio formiato convertito in alcalinità dai batteri. Su un sistema consolidato possono volerci diversi giorni per vedere un aumento al test, almeno è così nel mio sistema.
I use All For Reef too and the alkalinity is definitely delayed in showing up on a test. It's a calcium formate converted to alkalinity by bacteria. On an established system it can take several days to see an increase show up on a test, at least that's how it's been with my system.

Io ho acqua di pozzo. In realtà acqua di sorgente da pozzo. Vivo nel nord est del Tennessee in montagna e ho testato la mia acqua rodi prima di aggiungere il sale ed era alta in calcio. Abbastanza divertente. Tutti i filtri nuovi su unità rodi a 4 stadi
I have well water. Actually spring well water. I live in north east Tennessee in the mountains and I tested my rodi water before adding salt and it was high in calcium. Kinda funny. All new filters on 4 stage rodi unit

High calc can probs be chill if alk and mag are stable tho. Maybe dial down dosing a bit?

Alk and mag are fine. Only higher at the calc. Currently daily dosing the AFR
Gotcha! Magari prova a ridurre un po' il dosaggio di AFR e vedi se aiuta a calmare il calcio. A volte meno

Sono d'accordo anch'io con l'altro perché ho il sospetto che l'alcalinità di AFR sia ritardata o non si veda al test dato che mi è successo tante volte con AFR anche dopo un mese ma tende a mostrare calcio mentre l'alcalinità rimane bassa ai test quindi sì abbassalo come ha detto l'altro e lascia stare per un po' e con speranza l'alcalinità apparirà
I also agree with the other guy as I have a feeling the AFR alkalinity is delayed or not showing up on test as I’ve had it happen many times when stating AFR even a month later but tends to show calcium while alk remains low on tests so yeah I would lower it as the other guy said and let it sit for awhile and hopefully alk will show up
Ho questo problema anche io. Il mio calcio è circa 480. Volevo dosare afr per la comodità ma dato che il mio calcio è alto sto solo dosando brightwell alkalin8.3 e brightwell magnesion.
I have this issue too. My calc is about 480. I wanted to dose afr for the ease of it but since my calc is up I just dose brightwell alkalin8.3 and brightwell magnesion.
