Ciao ragazzi e ragazze, ecco un piccolo aggiornamento della mia vasca. Dopo il passaggio di proprietà, ero molto entusiasta di iniziare questo hobby, e so che sarà difficile. Ma il precedente proprietario aveva qualcosa che non andava nella sump, quindi i parametri stavano andando completamente fuori controllo. Alla fine ho trovato il problema e l’ho risolto con un cambio d'acqua giornaliero.
Sono felice che tutto abbia retto bene in questo momento difficile. Purtroppo, due lumache non ce l'hanno fatta.
E il candy coral ha una testa che sta sbiancando; il resto sta benissimo, si apre bene e sembra che alcuni stiano crescendo.
Domani farò l'ultimo cambio d'acqua e, tra un paio di giorni, spero che tutto torni di nuovo nella giusta direzione.
Hi guys and girls, here is a little update of my tank. After the take over, I was very excited to start the hobby, and I know it's going to be difficult. But the former owner had something wrong in the sump, so the parameters were going all the way off. I finally found the problem and solved it with a daily water change.
I am happy everything held strong through this hard time. Unfortunately, two snails have not made it.
And the candy coral is one head bleaching; the rest is doing great, they open nicely, and some of them seem to grow.
Tomorrow I am going to do the last water change, and in a couple of days, I hope everything is going in the right way again.

Sì grazie, lo so, ci sono quasi. Quello era il problema di iniziare questo hobby. Volevo tutto subito, quindi adesso so come stanno le cose. Ma un amico di un amico, lui conosceva un tizio. Quindi avevo qualcosa tipo ok, lo farò. Ma è per questo che ho dovuto ricominciare da zero per tutti i terribili casini dell’altro
Yeah thanks I know I am almost there. That was the hole issue of starting this hobby. I wanted evertyhing no so I know what's up. But some friend of a friend he know I guy. So I had something like ok I'll do it. But this is why I had to start new of all the terrible fuck ups from another

Nella mia vasca, il coral candy cane sta davvero bene in basso sulla rocciata con un flusso medio-basso. Potrebbe essere troppo in alto, ed è questo che sta causando lo sbiancamento. Però è solo la mia opinione.
In my tank, candy cane coral does really well at the bottom of my rock work in medium to low flow. Might be too high which is causing the bleaching. Just my opinion though.
Ho il mio rl90 impostato a 50. Bleu white non più di 15 Il rosso si accende solo con le albe Questo è l’altro problema: i miei wave maker scendono solo fino al 30%, quindi quando partono è come un uragano 🌀 ed è per questo che 2 pesci pagliaccio stanno per la maggior parte del tempo nell’angolo della vasca. E ho notato che quando lui era giù sulla roccia, a causa del wave maker, si sbriciolava insieme
I have my rl90 set down to 50. Bleu white is not more then 15 Red only comes with sunrises That's the other problem I'm taking on the wave makers are only go down to 30 % so when they go on it's like un hurricane 🌀 that's why 2 clownfish are most of the time in the corner of the tank. And I noticed when he was down on the rock because of the wave maker it crumbled together
Il flusso è sicuramente un fattore. Ci ho messo quasi 2 settimane per regolare il mio. Alla fine ne ho messo uno sul lato destro e uno sul vetro posteriore sinistro per ottenere il flusso giusto. Ho capito che i miei erano anche troppo forti, quindi li ho semplicemente sostituiti entrambi con degli MP10 ed è andata alla grande! Ho una vasca reef mista con coralli molli, lps e sps.
Flow is definitely a factor. Took me almost 2 weeks to dial mine in. Ended up with one on the right side and one on the back left glass to get the flow right. Realized mine were also too strong so just swapped them both for MP10s and it’s been great! Have a mixed reef with soft corals, lps, and sps.
