Qualche consiglio per spostare un'anemone Rockflower? Mi sta lentamente soffocando le zoas… oggi le sta completamente coprendole. Ho il wavemaker che lo bombarda per farlo muovere. Potrei anche provare a staccare la talea di Zoa e spostarla
Any tips to relocate a Rock flower anenome? He’s been slowly smothering my zoas… today is totally taking them over. I have the wavemaker blasting on him to make him move. Might also tey prying the Zoa frag off and moving away

Se riesci a togliere la roccia tienilo capovolto sopra l'acqua, senza toccarla. Mi ha funzionato benissimo! Ci ho messo circa 10-15 minuti e ha mollato la roccia.
If you can take his rock out hang him upside down over the water, not touching. Worked great for me! Took about 10-15 mins and he let go of the rock.

Grazie ragazzi! È una cosa testarda… ho tenuto un cubetto di ghiaccio sul piede per un paio di minuti… si è ritirato, non ha completamente mollato. Si è mosso abbastanza però che ho avuto una possibilità di provare a rimuovere la mia talea di Zoa e è venuta via più facile del previsto, quindi la sposterò in un'area più sicura
Thanks guys! He’s such a stubborn thing… I held an ice cube on the foot for a couple minutes… he shrunk back, wouldn’t let totally go. He moved enough tho that I had a shot at trying to remove my Zoa frag and it came off easier than I expected so I’ll be moving it to safer area

Uomo, quel cuoio pulsante sembra enorme e super sano! Ho avuto buoni risultati a spostare le anemoni rockflower staccandole delicatamente con una carta in plastica sottile ma devi stare attento a non strappar il tessuto. Il trucco del cubetto di ghiaccio è clutch perché le fa rilassare la presa. Proverei anche a spostare le zoas in un punto con meno flusso o riorganizzare la roccia così l'anemone non riesce a strisciare sopra così facilmente. Quei polpi candy cane sono bellissimi tra l'altro! Come va l'alcalinità e il calcio ultimamente? A volte un buon equilibrio di alk e calc aiuta le anemoni a stare più tranquille. Tienici aggiornati come
Man that pulsating leather looks huge and super healthy! I’ve had good luck moving rock flower anemones by gently prying them off with a thin plastic card but you gotta be careful not to tear the tissue. The ice cube trick is clutch too since it makes them relax their grip. I’d also try moving the zoas to a spot with less flow or rearranging the rock so the anemone can’t creep over as easy. Those candy cane polyps are gorgeous by the way! How’s your alkalinity and calcium holding up lately? Sometimes a solid alk and calc balance helps the anemones chill out a bit. Keep us posted how

Grazie!! Alcuni dei miei coralli hanno avuto un'esplosione di crescita ultimamente. Ho lottato per un po' con l'equilibrio di calcio, alk e mag, ma da quando ho passato al dosaggio All For Reef, tutto sta tenendo abbastanza costante e poi ho iniziato a vedere cambiamenti positivi nei coralli. Le trombe che pensavo avessi perso sono tornate e quadruplicate in taglia. Spero di vederle iniziare nuovi sviluppi presto. Sì spostare quell'anemone è stata la sfida, non voleva muoversi per niente e il suo piede è così profondo nella nicchia inferiore che avevo paura di danneggiarlo, così l'ho lasciato vincere questa battaglia e sono riuscito a rimuovere la mia talea di Zoa e la incollerò da qualche parte più sicuro e lontano! 😜
Thanks!! Some of my corals had a major growth spurt lately. I struggled for a while with the calcium, alk and mag balance, but since switching to All For Reef dosing, it’s all holding pretty consistent and then I started to see positive changes in the corals. The trumpets I thought I had lost but they have come back and quadrupled in size. Hoping to see them start some new growths soon. Yeah moving that anemone has been the challenge, he didn’t want to move for anything and his foot is so far deep in the bottom alcove that I was afraid of damaging him, so I let him win that battle and was able to remove my Zoa frag and will be glueing it somewhere safer and far away! 😜
