Saturday maintenance day 💪🏻

Added a dosing pump and it’s been one week finishing a Chemiclean treatment for Cyano. So far into it removed about 80% of it. The sand stayed pretty clean up until yesterday but it didn’t get nearly as bad as previous outbreaks. I’m going to take that as a win 🏆

Been battling cyano off and on since February, and finally caved and tried Chemiclean after exhausting some other methods. 2 hours left till I do my 48 hour water change and still seeing it on the sandbed… wasn’t sure what to expect at this point but hoping once I remove it soon it’s gone for good 🤞🏻

Added a few more snails and a new baby emerald crab today to help combat some hair algae we have going on. Zoas have been getting huge!

We lost our favorite little character, Lenny the Blenny yesterday. 🥺 We had him over a year, he was our first inhabitant in our new reefing adventure. Will miss his funny antics!

Our LFS tends to sell out of TSBs quickly but we’re open to adding someting different in the coming weeks. Any suggestions for a 15g softie tank with 2 clowns and a cleaner shrimp?
