Sembra sia Ich che Velvet. Io non ho mai avuto esperienza né con l’uno né con l’altro, quindi non sono di grande aiuto. @MalEficent di recente è riuscito a trattare un tang viola con l’ich e potrebbe riuscire a darti una mano.

Mettere i pesci colpiti in quarantena può aiutare a ridurre le perdite, ma se in realtà è ich, allora è nella vasca e bisogna intervenire sulla vasca. Opzione più sicura: QT > tratta i pesci > pulisci a fondo l’acquario o sostituisci tutto (poi fai partire il nuovo acquario senza niente della vecchia vasca a meno che non sia stato pulito in modo davvero accurato). Sembra ich, ma non è facile confermarlo dalle foto. Ci sono invertebrati o coralli? Se è Ich e non ci sono coralli o invertebrati, allora puoi trattare la vasca principale. Probabilmente dovrai sostituire rocce e sabbia (in modo corretto), dopo aver finito il trattamento. I trattamenti non sono davvero “reef-safe”, ma io ho avuto successo con Copper Power (con sostituzione corretta di sabbia e rocce dopo il trattamento) e poi reinserendo invertebrati (nessun corallo) senza problemi o cambiamenti nella qualità della loro vita.

Quarantining affected fish can help reduce loss, but if this is actually ich, then it’s in the tank and the tank will need to be addressed. Safest option is QT > treat fish > thoroughly clean aquarium or replace it (then cycle new tank with nothing from old tank unless it has been thoroughly cleaned). It does seem like ich, but not easy to confirm with photos. Any inverts or coral? If Ich and no coral or inverts, then you can treat the main display. Will most likely need to replace rocks and sand (properly), once done with treatment. Treatments aren’t really “reef-safe” but I’ve had success with Copper Power (with proper sand and rock replacement after treatment) and then re-adding inverts (no coral) with zero issues or changes to their quality of life.

Oh no 😢 per i tuoi pesci spero che sia ich. L’Ich può essere letale, ma si può trattare/gestire. Purtroppo però per me sembra più velvet. Il velvet copre il pesce più dell’ich, i puntini sono più piccoli e si diffonde in modo velocissimo. L’Ich può volerci diverse settimane per comparire sui pesci e considerando la tua spedizione/ordine, se già mostrano segni è molto probabile velvet. Il velvet ha un tasso di mortalità alto ma si può trattare. Consiglio di rimuovere TUTTI i pesci in una vasca di quarantena il più in fretta possibile e iniziare il trattamento. Poi lascia la vasca principale senza pesci per 6 settimane.

Oh no 😢 for your fishes sake I hope it’s ich. Ich can be deadly but can be treated/managed. Unfortunately, this looks more like velvet to me. Velvet covers the fish more than ich, spots are smaller, and it spreads extremely rapidly. Ich can take several weeks to show up on fish and considering your order fish are already showing signs it’s likely velvet. Velvet has a high mortality rate but can be treated. I suggest removing ALL fish into a quarantine tank as fast as possible and starting treatment. Then leave display fallow for 6 weeks.

Come follow-up per il trattamento, il trattamento è praticamente uguale sia per ich che per velvet. Come ha detto @billy, ho trattato con successo un tang viola con un caso estremo di ich. È un sacco di lavoro, soprattutto con più pesci, ma si può fare. Io ho usato tre vasche. Una vasca è impostata come vasca di osservazione. Le altre due vasche sono usate per un trattamento di due settimane. Metti i pesci in una vasca e dosa il rame fino a un livello terapeutico. Lasciali lì per due giorni, poi trasferisci i pesci nella seconda vasca con rame allo stesso livello terapeutico. Sterilizza la prima vasca con aceto o candeggina. Lascia stare e falle asciugare completamente. Cambia vasca ogni due giorni con rame terapeutico. Dopo due settimane trasferisci i pesci nella terza vasca di osservazione per due settimane. A questo punto il trattamento è essenzialmente finito: stai solo assicurandoti che tutto si sia risolto e che il trattamento sia stato efficace per due settimane in osservazione prima di rimetterli nella vasca principale. Le due settimane di osservazione sono per vasche che non sono state infettate; nel tuo caso, visto che la tua vasca è già colpita, terresti i pesci in osservazione per 4 settimane per il velvet o 9 settimane per l’ich per far passare tutto e ripulire la vasca. Ci sono opzioni di trattamento in vasca, ma di solito non sono così efficaci per i casi gravi. Il trucco/la parte costosa di questo metodo è che ti servono tre di TUTTO per non incrociare i contaminamenti tra vasche: tre riscaldatori, tre pompe di movimento o due areatori in pietra/air stone, e tre set di nascondigli in PVC. Se inizi il trattamento adesso, gli altri pesci probabilmente sopravviveranno con questo metodo se erano grassi e in salute prima di ammalarsi. Questo tizio è un tiro o va o non va. In bocca al lupo!! Ce la fai!

As a follow up for treatment, the treatment is essentially the same for both ich and velvet. As @billy mentioned, I successfully treated a purple tang with an extreme case of ich. It’s a lot of work, especially with multiple fish but absolutely can be done. I used three tanks. One tank is set up as an observation tank. The other two tanks are used for a two week treatment. Start the fish in one tank and dose copper to a therapeutic level. Leave them there for two days then transfer the fish to the secondary tank with copper at a therapeutic level. Sterilize the first tank with vinegar or bleach. Let sit and completely dry. Switch tanks every two days at therapeutic copper levels. After two weeks transfer the fish to the third observation tank for two weeks. The treatment is essentially complete at this point you’re just making sure everything has resolved and treatment was successful for two weeks in observation before transferring to the main display. The two weeks for observation is for displays that haven’t been infected, in your case since your display is affected you would keep them in observation for 4 weeks for velvet or 9 weeks for ich to clear your display. There are in tank treatment options but they generally aren’t as effective for severe cases. The trick/expensive part about this method is you need to have three of EVERYTHING to not cross contaminate tanks. Three heaters, three wave makers or air stones, and three sets of fish hides/pvc. If you start treatment now your other fish will likely survive this method if they are fat and healthy before they got sick. This guy is hit or miss. Good luck!! You got this!

Scusa se rispondo super extra 😂 ma il trattamento tradizionale è rame terapeutico per 30 giorni. Il problema è che il rame è tossico e pesa sui pesci e a volte i pesci soccombono comunque al trattamento anche se nonostante la cura. Anche con il metodo di 2 settimane, il mio tang è uscito con HLLE ma poi si è ripreso abbastanza in fretta con le cure giuste. Il metodo delle due settimane l’ho preso da humble fish se ti serve/vuoi qualche spiegazione in più.

Sorry to be super extra in response 😂 but traditional treatment is therapeutic copper for 30 days. The problem with this is copper is toxic and takes a toll on fish and sometimes fish succumb to the treatment regardless of the illness. Even with the 2 weeks my tang came out with HLLE but she recovered pretty quickly from that with proper care. The two week method I got from humble fish if you need/want more explanation.

Grazie a tutti per le vostre risposte! Questa mattina ho guardato tutti i miei pesci, purtroppo non credo che il mio tang ce la farà. Li ho nutriti stamattina, mangiano tutti tranne il tang. Lui sembra molto apatico e non riesce a nuotare bene. Inoltre sembra anche che sia diventato più piccolo rispetto a quando l’ho preso, e la pancia sembra anche gonfia. Per quanto riguarda il puffer: alcuni dei puntini bianchi sono caduti, l’ho preso insieme al tang ma per il resto sembra sano (a parte i puntini bianchi). Non ho nemmeno invertebrati o coralli—ho iniziato questa passione solo all’inizio di quest’anno! Ho anche appena introdotto i copepodi e sto dosando la vasca con Live Phyto Feast. Grazie di nuovo a tutti per l’aiuto!!

Thank you all for you responses! This morning I looked at all my fish, unfortunately I don’t think my tang will make it. I feed them this morning they all eat except the tang. He seems very lethargic, and can’t swim properly. It also seems like he has gotten smaller in size compared to when I got him, his stomach also seems to bulge. As for the puffer some of the white spots have fallen off, I got him along side the tang but he still seems healthy (aside from the white spots). I also don’t have any inverts or coral I just started this hobby at the beginning of the year! I also just recently introduced copepods and have been dosing the tank with Live Phyto Feast. Again that you all for the help!!

Quarantena sì, Però l’ICK è in ogni vasca purtroppo… è il sistema immunitario dei pesci che riesce a spingere avanti/superare la malattia… quarantena e dosare rame sì, ma devi anche dargli un extra supplemento per il sistema immunitario … SELCON! Quarantine yes, But ICK is in every tank unfortunately it’s the fishes immune system to be able to push through the sickness… quarantine and dosing copper yes but you need to feed them with a extra supplement for immune system … SELCON ! James grazie per il tuo feedback! WWC è esattamente il posto dove vado io per tutte le mie esigenze sui pesci! Tutti i miei pesci nella mia DT attuale vengono da WWC. Uso anche Selcon; ieri pensavo di tornare a casa con un pesce in meno, ma per fortuna non è successo! La scopas sembra che stia riprendendosi, niente più puntini… Però ha ancora una patina/strato opaco sul corpo. La pancia non è più gonfia, ha ripreso a mangiare di nuovo. Stessa cosa con il puffer: i puntini non ci sono più. So che tutti i miei pesci sono già stati in rame prima di comprarli. E non voglio fare nessun farmaco se non è necessario, per evitare di stressare i pesci. Apprezzo davvero tutto da parte vostra e i vostri feedback fantastici! Grazie!!

James thank you for your feedback! WWC is the exact place I go for all my fish needs! All my fish in my current DT have been from WWC. I also use Selcon, yesterday I thought I would arrive home to one less fish but thankfully I did not! The scopas seems to be making a recovery, no more spots… But it does still have a cloudy coating on the body. The stomach isn’t bulging any more, started eating again. Same thing with the puffer the spots are not there anymore. I know all my fish have been in copper before I purchased them. I also don’t want to do any medication if it’s not necessary to avoid stressing the fish out. I really appreciate all of you and your amazing feed back! Thank you!!

Beh se i puntini sono caduti, probabilmente è ich. Purtroppo però ora la tua vasca ha l’ich: non sparirà da sola. I pesci che hai già nella vasca potrebbero essere abbastanza forti da riuscire a combatterlo, ma se aggiungi un pesce nuovo potrebbe contrarre l’ich e il ciclo ricomincia.

Well if the spots have fallen off it's likely ich . Unfortunately you tank now has ich it will not just go away . The fish you have in the tank might be strong enough to fight it off , but and new fish added might contract ich and the cycle will continue.
