I recently acquired a baby yellow tang for my tank, but my purple tang has been exhibiting aggressive behavior towards it. It chases and bites the baby tang, prompting me to create a DIY acclimation tank. Additionally, I purchased a mirror to attach to the tank’s glass. Considering these factors, how long should I keep the baby tang separated from the purple tang?

Ieri sera sono riuscito a catturare i miei pagliacci e a togliere l'anemone dalla roccia prima che si spegnessero i fari. Adesso spero che imparino che possono vivere insieme e che si ospitino a vicenda così potró rilasciarli di nuovo nella vasca tra un paio di giorni. 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼

I managed to catch my clowns and get my anemone off the rock last night before the lights went out. Now hopefully the learn that they can live together and will host so I can release them back into the tank in a few days. 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼

Ho fatto ghost-feeding costantemente dal primo giorno, e finalmente i batteri stanno iniziando a funzionare.

Sto pensando di iniziare a mettere in quarantena alcuni membri della clean-up crew presto.

Cosa mi consigliate, aspetto un po' più a lungo o comincio a preparare la QT ora?

Started cycling my Hello Reef last week, and today I saw my first signs of nitrite!

I’ve been ghost-feeding consistently since day one, and the bacteria are finally kicking in.

I’m thinking about starting to quarantine a few members of the clean-up crew soon.

What do you guys recommend, should I wait a bit longer or start prepping the QT now?

I’ve been seeing signs of velvet on some of my fish so I got them in a QT and this is when I was cleaning it but I think it was trying to rub its mouth on stuff but does anybody know what those black spots are on its mouth and by its eye?

Sto mettendo in quarantena i Tangs prima di spostarli nella nuova vasca. Ho intenzione di aggiungere qualche pesce nuovo prima che questi ragazzi entrino lì. Così i nuovi pesci hanno tempo di stabilirsi mentre il tang gang si prende una pausa.

Quarantineing the Tangs before I move them to the new tank. Inplant to add a few new fish before these guy get in there. So this way the new fish have time to establish them selves while the tang gang takes a break.

Giornata fantastica oggi. È stata una settimana da quando ho rimesso il corallo Hammer e il corallo Duncan in quarantena. E tutto quello che ho fatto è nutrirli con fitoplancton, Reef energy AB+, e artemie. E i loro tentacoli stanno iniziando a tornare. Persino la Xenia sta ricrescendo. Molto entusiasta del loro ritorno. Stiamo lottando per una rimonta.

Awesome day today. It's been a week since I put the Hammer coral and the Duncan coral back into quarantine. And all I've done is feed them phytoplankton, Reef energy AB+, and brine shrimp. And their tentacles are starting to come back. Even the Xenia is growing back. Very excited for their return. We are fighting for a comeback.
