Just got a Kenya tree coral and this came off of it. It looks like a bristle worm but this and a zoa I got today were my first corals. Can anyone clarify if it’s actually a bristle worm bc it looks nasty so I got rid of it.

Needs a better picture. I would think a bristle worm that big would be really long, but it's possible it split in half. If it wiggle like a worm, most likely yes.
