¡Bienvenido! Añadiendo lo que recomendó @JoseC588. Yo alquilaría un medidor PAR de tu tienda local y pasaría el día mapeando tu acuario con la luz configurada a diferentes intensidades. De esta forma tendrás mucha más probabilidad de éxito a la hora de proporcionar la luz adecuada a los corales. También te recomendaría que investigues kits de prueba, los compres y empieces a probar los parámetros del agua. Luego, haz lo que estoy haciendo yo y aprende a mantener tus parámetros del agua. Por ejemplo. Alcalinidad. Conseguí una botella de Red Sea Foundation B para poner los niveles bien y mantenerlos así. Probando cada día, he descubierto que mi alcalinidad baja 0,3 cada 24 horas. Así que una vez que suba un poco más los niveles, tendré que dosificar aproximadamente 3ml al día. Soy nuevo, como tú. He tenido que contenerme para no gastarme cientos de euros en corales y peces. ¿Por qué? Porque no tengo parámetros estables. Eso es porque no sé lo que estoy haciendo. ¡Jaja! Así que vayamos muy poco a poco. ¡No queremos que nuestra primera (mi segunda) experiencia se eche a perder rápido solo porque nos apresuramos!
Welcome! Adding on to what @JoseC588 recommended. I'd go rent a PAR meter from your LFS and spend the day mapping out your tank with the light set to different intensity ratings. This way, you'll have a much better chance at success when it comes to providing coral with the right light. I would also recommend that you look into test kits, buy them, and start testing your water parameters. Then, do what I'm doing and learn how to maintain your water parameters. For instance. Alkalinity. I got a bottle of Red Sea Foundation B to get the levels right and keep them there. Through testing every day, I've found that my alkalinity drops 0.3 every 24 hours. So once I get my levels up a bit more, I'll have to dose about 3ml a day. Im new, just like you. I've had to refrain myself from dropping hundreds of dollars on coral and fish. Why? Because I don't have stable parameters. That's because I don't know what I'm doing. Hahaha! So let's take it really slow. We don't want our first (my second) experience to go sour fast all because we rushed things! The pretty coral will come soon enough..

Red Sea es una empresa...no necesitas dosificar ahora ya que no tienes corales... tu alcalinidad y otros parámetros fluctuarán un tiempo especialmente porque es un sistema nuevo...Solo haz cambios de agua periódicos después de que el acuario haya ciclado...aproximadamente 10% cada semana o cada dos semanas...¡ten paciencia! El tiempo es tu mejor amigo en este hobby...
Red Sea is a company...no need to dose now since you don't have corals... your alk and other parameters will fluctuate for a while especially since it's a brand new system...Just do periodic water changes after the tank has cycled...roughly 10% each week or every other week...be patient!! Time is your best friend in this hobby...

Estoy un poco en desacuerdo. Cuando el acuario cicla la alcalinidad baja y arrastra el pH hacia abajo. Esto es algo que deberías monitorear aunque no tengas corales. Para esa etapa de caída de alcalinidad durante el ciclado puedes mirar Seachem Reef Builder que es carbonato y bicarbonato que ayuda a subir alcalinidad y pH. Después aún quieres monitorear alcalinidad y calcio aunque no tengas corales. Solo que no con tanta frecuencia. La razón es que tus rocas y arena absorberán alcalinidad/calcio filtrándolo del agua. Puedes mirar all-for-reef que puedes mezclar y dosificar manualmente o automáticamente. El magnesio se alineará pero no importa sin corales.
I kinda disagree. When cycling alk drops and pulls ph down. This is something you should monitor even though you don't have corals. For that stage of alk drops during cycling you can link at seachem reef builder which is carbonate and bicarbonate which helps raise alk and ph. Afterwards you still want to monitor alk and cal even without corals. Just not as frequently. Reason is your rocks and sand will absorb alk/cal leaching it from the water. You can look at all-for-reef which you can mix and dose manually or automated. Mag will fall in line but doesn't matter with no corals.

Definitivamente haré más investigación mucho antes de meter corales, pero ¿podéis explicarme rápidamente qué significa que los corales se blanqueen y cómo evito que un coral nuevo se blanquee si ya tengo corales en el acuario? Por supuesto que no tengo ninguno porque quiero ir poco a poco pero tenía curiosidad de qué era el blanqueamiento
I will definitely do more research way before I get coral, but can y’all quickly explain what it means for corals to bleach and how do I keep a new coral from bleaching if I already have coral in the tank. I don’t of course because I want to take it slow but I was curious what bleaching was

Solo haz cambios de agua del 10% una vez a la semana, y no dosis nada. La luz parece que podría ser más fuerte de la que necesitas. Calcula 1 o 2 vatios por galón
Just do 10% Water change s once a week, and don't dose anything. Light sounds like it could be a stronger than you need. Figure 1 to 2 watts per gallon

100w parece mucho para un acuario de 20 galones. Probablemente tengas que bajarla bastante una vez que metas corales. Si es un acuario nuevo, tardará un tiempo en ciclarse y estabilizarse lo suficiente para los corales, de todas formas. Es difícil saber los niveles sin un medidor PAR. Lo mejor es empezar poco a poco e ir subiendo la intensidad lentamente durante días o semanas para que los corales no se blanqueen.
100w seems like a lot for a 20g tank. You might need to tune it way down once you get corals in. If it's a new tank, it will take a while before you cycle and stabilize enough for corals, tho. Hard to tell the levels without a Par meter. Best is to start low and ramp up the intensity slowly over days/weeks so the corals don't bleach.
