Ik heb twee vragen.. één: ik kan geen goede foto’s van mijn aquarium krijgen omdat het licht in de weg zit bij mijn camera.. Heb je fixes hiervoor?? Twee: bezetting.. Ik heb een 55G long aquarium met een 20G sump. Ik heb nu het volgende:
X2 clowns
X2 blue/green chromis
X1 Royal Gramma
X1 Coral Beauty
En een paar inverts (slakken, emerald crabs en pistol shrimp, een paar koraaltjes)
Ik ga op een gegeven moment in de nabije toekomst een green mandarin halen zodra ik zijn dieetbehoeften succesvol kan voorzien. En een yellow watchman als ik ze ooit uit de sump kan houden 🙄… Ik wil misschien nog 1 of 2 fire fish of bangaii erbij en dan klaar! Is dat te veel? Al mijn huidige vissen zijn blij en de CB is net uit QT en vindt het aquarium geweldig! Wat denken jullie?

I am going to get a green mandarin at some point in the near future once I can successfully supply its dietary needs. And a yellow watchman if I can ever keep them from getting into the sump 🙄… I want to add maybe a fire fish or 2 bangaii and be done! Is that way too much? All my current fish are happy and the CB just got out of QT and loves the tank! What do yall think?

Ik denk dat je bezettingslijst prima is. Geen van die vissen wordt echt heel groot. De firefish en watchman willen schuilplekken, dus zorg dat je er genoeg hebt. En de mandarin heeft heel veel rots nodig om de copepods te ondersteunen. Dus zolang je aquarium goed ingesteld is voor elke vis, zeg ik: ga ervoor.
I think your stocking list is appropriate. None of those fish get very big. The firefish and watchman will want hiding spots so just make sure you have enough to go around. And the mandarin needs lots of rock work to support the copepods. So as long as your tank is set up properly for each fish I say go for it.

Ik denk dat ik ga voor de twee cardinals in plaats van de firefish. De mandarin wacht ik met halen tot ik zeker weet dat ik in zijn behoeften kan voorzien. Ik denk dat ik genoeg rotswerk heb, maar ik ga nog wat meer research doen voordat ik koop.
I think I’m going to go with the two cardinals over the firefish. The mandarin I’m waiting to get until I’m sure I can supply its needs. I think I have enough rock work but I’ll do more research before purchasing.

Ik heb pods één keer gedoseerd in mijn 55gal en ongeveer een maand gewacht voordat ik ze op mijn glas zag. Zodra je ze op je glas ziet en je hebt genoeg rots voor ze om in je aquarium te leven, is alles klaar. Ik ben daarna naar mijn huidige 175g gegaan, heb pods gedoseerd en mijn rots deels verplaatst voor een paar weken en toen heb ik hem erin gezet. Daarna heb ik pods gedoseerd ongeveer 2x per maand in de eerste twee maanden, daarna 1x per maand. Ik blijf ze alleen doseren omdat ik nu meerdere pod-etende vissen in mijn aquarium heb. Ze groeien ook echt gek in mijn refugium.
I dosed pods once in my 55gal and waited about a month before I started seeing them on my glass. As soon as you see them on your glass and you have plenty of rock for them to live in your tank is ready. I moved to my current 175g, dosed pods and moved half my rock for a few weeks and moved him in. Then I dosed pods about 2x a month the first two months then 1x a month now. I only continue to dose because I have multiple pod eaters in my tank now. They also grow like crazy in my refugium.

Ik denk dat een mandarin en firefish of Bangaii erbij prima is. Watchman waarschijnlijk ook. Maar kijk elke keer dat je nieuwe vissen toevoegt hoe het aquarium reageert en beoordeel daarna opnieuw wat je ervan vindt.
I think adding a mandarin and firefish or Bangaii would be fine. Watchman probably fine too. Just each time you add new fish see how the tank acts and then reasse what you think.
Oké. Dat ga ik doen. Toen ik vroeger jaren geleden zoetwater had, was er die inch per gallon regel of zoiets. Blijkbaar is dat nu allemaal onzin volgens wat ik gelezen heb🤷
Okay. That’s what I’ll do. Back when I did freshwater years ago there was this inch per gallon rule or whatever. Apparently that’s all bogus now from what I’ve read🤷
