Based off your tank, I would put it somewhere midway through the tanks height. I also would get rid of the plastic decor you have in the tank, it can leech toxins into the water and kill corals and fish. Get more rock like Marco rock or Caribsea rock not the plastic stuff.

Mid level prob best for candy cane! Gives good light and flow without frying it. Watch for the hawkfish tho they love candy canes for snacks lol

Hawkfish pose no threat to coral. They can kill inverts but not coral

Hey Maggie, I’d probably place that Kryptonite Candy Cane where it can get moderate flow and decent lighting without being blasted directly by the strongest PAR spots. Mid-level is usually good since it likes some light but can get stressed if it’s too intense right up top. Also keep it a bit

I took out all the plastic decor and put it right in the middle. We’ll see how this does. Thank you all for your feedback.
