Started cycling my Hello Reef last week, and today I saw my first signs of nitrite!
I’ve been ghost-feeding consistently since day one, and the bacteria are finally kicking in.
I’m thinking about starting to quarantine a few members of the clean-up crew soon.
What do you guys recommend, should I wait a bit longer or start prepping the QT now?

I honestly never QT my inverts. If it’s a brand new tank then there’s not much to worry about. I’d just make sure to examine that there is not an obvious pest on them. You can follow our YouTube channel we are currently doing a HelloReef tank series! https://youtube.com/@reefbay_app

Nice to see the coralline starting to take over your rock already! Ghost feeding is solid for cycling. I’d say prepping the QT now is smart so you’re ready when those clean-up crew members arrive. Nano tanks can get tricky with space so planning ahead helps avoid stressing the little guys!
