Guys!!!! I cannot even express how excited I am right now. Got my girl eating 2.5 half clams for 2 days in a row but wouldn’t touch her feeder with the cube in it. Decided tonight since she’s already eaten “enough” for the day I’d put another half clam in her feeder instead of the cube instead of putting another one in the bottom of the box. She immediately took to it!!! This is a HUGE success in getting her ready for tank life. This feeder is specifically designed for copperbands so they access the food inside and the other fish cannot. This allows them to be able to eat at their leisure without food competition. The next step is adding different cubes in with the clam in hopes she’ll take to other foods as well over time. 🥰🥰🥰

I’v never had a copperband but every fish video says they are one of the hardest fish to get eating. Very impressive! Looks like you have a perfect system in place and are taking your time. I will def be asking for advice if I ever buy one!
