Hello everyone! My name is Nick and I’m new here! I have two systems, one’s a waterbox 100.3 that’s about a 5 year old system and experienced a huge crash around July. I also just started a floating reef a few months ago!

What caused the crash?
I suspect moving the system from my storage room to my living room and overdosed iodine. ICP test showed 222 ug/l of iodine and phosphates measured at .396 mg/l
Sorry to hear it. 5 years of biodiversity is hard to replace. You plan on adding a lot Of corals to the sand bed on under the rock? A rock flower anemone garden would be cool and they tend to stay on the sand.
Yep this floating reef just got settup a couple months ago and I’m just waiting for it to mature and then I was actually thinking about doing a rock flower under that rock as well as an acantho, trachy, and some nice scolys. The nanos exclusively going to be a show tank for awesome pieces!
That’ll be awesome. Maybe something that doesn’t mind really low light for right under the rock like a big Yuma or something.
