Really hoping in the future to get a tank dedicated to giant clams. They really aren’t as hard as some say.

Wow that clam is sweet! I’d like to get one some day. Are they safe around wrasse’s and tangs?
My six line doesn’t bother it. Tangs I’m not so sure of as I don’t have any. I had a fox face that nipped at my maxima, go figure
Ok good to know. I’ve got a big Melanurus wrasse, foxface and tangs that I feel at least one would be guilty. I guess I’ll have to start a new tank 🤷♂️
I had a Melanurus didn’t bother the clam at all. I wouldn’t be deterred getting a clam because of a tangs. Biggest thing I’ve had success with is putting clams high up in your tank with extremely high light.
