I have a stressful week ahead of me! I currently have a 300 DT plumbed to my basement fish room where I have a 60 Gallon refugium, 150 gallon basin sump and a 4’x 2’ frag tank.
We closed in a new house and now I have to figure out how to move everything about 30 miles away!

I just figured out that I am never moving… ever.
Having a reef tank certainly makes it difficult…
Consider boarding livestock at an LFS. I sold what livestock I could part with, and boarded what I wanted to keep at my LFS for like $50/month. Granted I only kept a few rocks that had my SPS and some other of my favorite corals, but they were willing to board my fish as well. I kept some base rock in 5 gallon buckets and set up in a brute can with aeration and powerhead until I was ready to set up the tank. The boarding took the pressure off so I could take my time getting the tank ready.

Oh man I can feel the stress! Id love to hear your game plan. I’ll be moving 160miles in a couple months and still haven’t figured out my plan haha
I wish I had a game plan!! I should be able to set up a basin at the new place and prep water there to move things too.
Do you plan to bag each fish or have in buckets? Catching all the fish seems like the hardest part lol. Are you going to do anything for temperature control for the coral and fish? Let me know how goes!
