Not sure never had a plate coral maybe sand or not enough flow that created a dead spot on the coral?

I have a feeling it’s some sort of irritation from a tankmate or a pest. I’m sure a melafix dip and some iodine could make it happier though

Thank you Today was puffy Seems like it's doing a lot better I just don't know what caused that

In my experience, fungia can get irritated on the sand bed, try putting it on crushed coral or on the rockwork
