Welcome!
Welcome! Keep us posted on the tank, looks amazing
Hey Lance! Welcome to the reef community! Your tank looks super inviting with that mix of LPS and soft corals. I love how the polyps are fully extended under that blue lighting. That kind of spectrum really makes the colors pop and gives everything such a calming glow. Your orange clown and green mandarin seem right at home too. I’m guessing you keep your flow moderate since the softies look happy and not too blasted. Any favorite corals in there you’re focusing on growing? Also curious about your alk and calcium levels since LPS usually appreciate stable parameters for those big fleshy
Thank you. My wave makers are positioned to keep circulatory movement hi and low to minimize dead space. They are set at about 40%. My smaller bubble tip does move from time to time either for better footing and or relief from current. I’ve learned to just allow him to do so as lowering the current any more will just aid in algae growth. Alkalinity is steady at 8.3 however the calcium has been reading 280 so I have Ben dosing 10 ml at night on a tested schedule in about 3-4 more days I should capture the sweet spot. I then plan to test at the same time for calcium every 2 days without dosing to see the coral consumption and then I can plan accordingly. I want to see the consumption rate so I can keep them fed. Thanks for the post reply! Happy Reefing!

Hey Lance welcome to the reef community! Your tank has such a nice mix of softies and LPS, the colors are really popping under your lighting. That cleaner shrimp is a great little helper too. Keep us posted on how it all grows!
Thank you.
