Hey man I totally get where you’re coming from! Those ammonia readings can be brutal at the start. Good call on the 10% water change and dosing with Prime. It’s all about patience and staying on top of your water parameters. How long has it been cycling? Your live rock arrangement looks solid for good biological filtration. Are you planning on adding corals soon or just focusing on getting the tank stable with rock and sand first? Also since you have your Dottyback and Clownfish, have you thought about what kind of flow and lighting you want? Those two usually do well with moderate flow

The local store that I got my setup from told me dose with live sand rock and turbostart for a week and the I was clear to add fish. Which come to find out I should have waited after all my research. Now goal is to not to stress the fish and get the tank to cycle properly. Tank is nearly 4 weeks old now. Going for a full reef setup but going to master the tank for about 8-10 months before adding corals. I have never thought about any flow for the fish.

Get yourself a bottle of live pods and live phyto and dump them in there and give it a few weeks. If you can get your hands on some anthropods that's even better. They'll help consume any of the detritus in the crevices. That'll help control ammonia level. I find they also help cycle tanks fresh and salt

Are you mixing or buying natural salt water?

If under 3 months. Dose some turbostart, microbaster7, etc.
