Hello everyone,
Any idea as to what this purple tubes are? The coral is retracted right now but healthy. Just not sure what these other things are. They seem to be slowly growing out of its sides.

They’re vermetid snails, common in reef tanks. They aren’t harmful in most cases, at worst they might irritate coral tissue if they’re growing next to it. If they’re bothering you they can easily be broken off with bone cutters.

If you put super glue at the opening of the tube it will help get rid of them
