Hey! Love the chill vibe in this shot. That hair algae can be a bit of a pain but it’s kinda cool how it gives a natural look like a growing reef! Have you tried any cleanup crew critters to help manage it? I’ve heard some snails and hermits do wonders for that in smaller tanks. Also curious about your lighting setup since I’m always tweaking mine to get good flow and keep algae in check. What kind of flow are you running? Hope your Davinci Clownfish is enjoying the hangout spot too! Keep us posted on how your nano reef evolves!
That is pencil cap microalge that my pitho crab is hanging on.
I'm so sorry but im going to be honest, I have no clue. I purchased it already established. I added a good clean up crew in my mind but I don't have any idea on what im doing. Lost gsp 5 months after purchased and have been trying to learn since. Instead of more coral I thought I'd try my luck with a pencil cap, money plant and a Christmas tree. My lighting is a hygger saltwater light is what it says. I run it on yellowish blue for 6 hrs then 6 hrs blue. No clue what im doing like I said. Not sure on filter and flow it was already set so I haven't touched it.
