I increased the size of my refugium which caused a bit of a crash and a subsequent ugly phase which my system is still in. Yours looks great.

Thanks! Yes it’s nothing too ugly. Just the brown diatoms from the new cycle and bacteria repopulating. Shouldn’t be long until coralline takes over and no more brown rocks 😂

That's where I'm at, rusty diatoms all over the sand bed at the end of each day. I ended up losing a few sps but so far everything is doing ok.
