This looks great i love the rock density and progressive height and depth change. I'd totally keep! My reccomendation for a scape like this is don't do a crazy deep sandbed. The scape is great but will cause some dead spots where the flow can't pick up Ditritus and turn over sand! So just be diligent about siphoning those areas and keeping it from building up! Cant wait to see those rocks covered in corals!

How should I set up the sand I am using 20lb Carib sea special grade, like how many inch and should I do it

User Avatar @BradMac5618 1y

Inch to an inch and a half should do great

Change . Think about your small crawling folks( inverts) - up and forward ?

If his tank were larger id agree with you, but I think if he doesn't have large conch snails or anything he should be okay. Turbo astrea trochus and hermits can all maneuver around that just fine id say?

Ahhh okay, that makes sense. Yes, I have a hello reef tank and I have snails, and others , the only one that goes in the back is the blue crab and the cleaner shrimp , he is very Territorial

How is the hello reef start ? I've heard pretty decent reviews for it as a whole?

It’s great! I can’t complain one bit! I love it ! I can’t wait till they make a bigger one like a 50 gallon. My two anemones , clownfish , 1 shrimp and inverts are doing very well! I added a Protein skimmer last week and a nano mat fleece roller to replace the sock . I’ve played around with the blade lighting ( Mobius) to help satisfy my anemones
