Looking really good for 5 months in! Does your mandarin eat well? I’m considering one for my next tank but heard they can be finicky eaters
He appears to eat some frozen baby brine and cyclopods, but no mysis or anything else that is meaty and nutritious. He picks at the rock plenty but that certainly isn’t enough for him in a 31 gallon tank either. This morning, my mandarin feeder delivered from printed reef (the big black thing in the back corner of the tank). I started hatching live baby brine about a week ago, so the feeder let’s me inject a batch of baby brine into the tank in a controlled manner that allows the dragonet to graze all day and stay fat. I’m crossing my fingers that it’ll work and I’ll certainly post updates. Apologies for the essay lol
Oh yeah you were hatching brine. Did you also try growing copepods I thought? So you scoop some live baby brine in there and they slowly come out. That’s a pretty cool device never seen that.
