Sad news - Just found my beautiful Ruby Red Dragonet on the floor. He jumped out sometime overnight through the tiniest gap in my lid. I feel like I failed him

Agh sorry to hear. So strange how they sometimes jump through the smallest holes and then some people have success with no lid. I’ve been running my 6ft long tank for 3 years with no lid and I’ve only had one first jump.
For sure. I almost lost a goby through the same gap a few months ago but I was able to save him in time. I’m going to seal the gaps better tomorrow and then get another Ruby Red. I have no idea how people have successful tanks without lids lol
