Looks like my nassarius snails-they bury in the sand and have a nose poking out

That is what these snails are. They do that as well just this time it was together like this end to end. Only stayed like that for a few minutes before separating and burrowing back into the sand.

Great- and if you’re wondering if they’re a pest snail-no they’re not. They are scavengers that come out to eat leftover food or dead organisms. I think they’re mostly nocturnal but will come out during the day when you feed

Lol my nass snails do that too! Maybe they got a secret party under the sand
