I just started a hopefully long hobby of marine fish keeping. I finished mixing water yesterday and added ammonia for a fishlesss cycle. I look forward to learning a lot here!

Looks like a solid start with that live rock structure! Doing a fishless cycle is a smart move to make sure everything’s stable before adding fish. Can’t wait to see how your tank fills out once you start adding corals and fish!
Thanks! I tend to overthink things in the planning stages and watch too many online videos and start to second guess myself. I just wanted plenty of places for fish to swim, hide, and eventually grow some corals. Now time to start figuring out what is going to go in after the CUC and a pair of clowns when the time is right! I've done planted freshwater aquariums off and on for about 25 years so its time to dabble in saltwater!
