Both of my fish suddenly developed these white spots on their body and was wondering if this could be ich?

It’s ich it’s normal if they are new and clownfish are hardy so they should clear up by the end of the week, I personally use prazipro which is reef safe. I also soak food in garlic as well when my fish get ice

I would soak food in Garlic for a couple of days and monitor them make sure it isn’t getting worse if it gets worse after 3 days then I’ll use the prazipro

I got some white spot medication from my lfs today and was gonna start dosing it cause I think my Picasso is starting to get lethargic(?) and his gills are pretty flared up

If that’s the case then I would medicate as well, what is it that you got? Do you have corals? Make sure it’s completely reef safe

I’m not sure what it is but they said they use it to treat their fish as well and that it’s reef safe

Yeah but I can’t seem to find other fish stores near me that sells any meds for them and online would take like a week or two to get delivered 😭😭

This is reef safe if u have corals and anemones my tang had ich took it all off in 3 days

I used Fish Keeper Marine formula to fight ich. Plus uv. Worked great for my ich outbreak. The formula coats their skin. Just turned off uv for 6 hours after dosing. Uv for 18 hours the rest of the day. Cleared it up in a week. Saved a hippo tang that didn’t eat for 2.5 weeks. Did prazipro to treat flukes which trashed my perameters. That caused the ich outbreak. I’m a big fan of Fish Keeper.

My experiance with ich. Nothing gets rid of it completely. Except one thing if you want a truly ich free tank. Remove all fish and put them in quarentine tank and treat with copper. Let the display tank run without ANY fish for about 2 months. I know it sucks. But that’s the only way to get rid of it. You need to let all the ich eggs hatch and starve before adding fish back in. Ich doesn’t feed on anything except fish.
